The light weight construction is ideal for usage along utility poles for cable television, telecom or other outside plant campus backbone applications without the need for cable lashing orgrounding or where metallic cable can not be used.  The cable is suited for power lines under 110kV.

Round cable design minimizes wind and ice loading for reducing cable sag, tensile forces on towers and support hardware.
